FOUR-STAGE BUYING PATH

How Wholesale & Seasonal Orders Are Executed

Clear inputs and deliverables at every stage — from initial product matching to container loading.

01

Product Selection & Scope

Buyer Input: Buyer provides target catalog models or reference sketches, required dimensions, display context (tabletop/hanging/floor), and estimated quantity.
Deliverable / Next Step: We confirm structural feasibility, match existing tooling or custom requirements, and provide a tiered volume quotation.
02

Physical Sampling & Verification

Buyer Input: Buyer specifies standard catalog styles or supplies Pantone codes, custom size tolerances, and courier delivery details.
Deliverable / Next Step: Physical pre-production prototypes are dispatched to evaluate paper weight, folding mechanics, and color accuracy before bulk production.
03

Packaging & Carton Planning

Buyer Input: Buyer shares retail packaging specs (polybag, printed header card, gift box), barcode artwork, inner pack counts, and pallet limits.
Deliverable / Next Step: We supply dieline templates, verify artwork, design flat-pack inner packs, and optimize master carton dimensions for container loading.
04

Seasonal Production & Logistics

Buyer Input: Buyer specifies the final in-store retail launch date, target port or warehouse address, and agreed trade terms (FOB/CIF).
Deliverable / Next Step: A milestone schedule is locked to align raw paper preparation, precision assembly, QC checks, export packing, and vessel booking.

WHOLESALE FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions by Seasonal Buyers

Can several products be mixed into one seasonal collection or container order?

Yes. We actively support mixed seasonal assortments (e.g. combining freestanding paper trees with hanging ornaments and tabletop figures in coordinated colorways).

To plan a mixed order, specify the model IDs, target piece count per model, and packaging format (e.g. individual retail packs vs. multi-piece gift sets). Minimum master carton packing increments apply per style to ensure safe container transport.

What options are available for custom retail packaging and private labeling?

Full OEM/ODM packaging solutions are supported. We provide customized dielines and packaging configurations tailored to your retail channel:

  • Inner Retail Packaging: Polybags with custom-printed header cards, card sleeves, flat envelopes, or rigid presentation boxes.
  • Retail Labeling & Barcodes: High-resolution UPC/EAN barcode stickers, instruction sheets, and approved material or recycling labels where applicable. Certification claims require supporting documentation for the order.
  • Master Shipping Cartons: Heavy-duty double-wall corrugated cartons with customized shipping marks, optimized for palletizing and container loading.
Can standard catalog products be customized or adapted?

Yes. Most honeycomb paper structures can be adapted to match your seasonal brand brief:

  • Dimensions & Tiers: Customizing heights, diameters, and layer counts for specific counter, shelf, or window dimensions.
  • Color & Specialty Paper: Custom Pantone-dyed paper, two-tone layers, or gradient palettes.
  • Decorative Finishes: Metallic gold, silver, or copper edge foiling, glitter accents, and printed pattern paper.
  • Closures: Concealed magnetic closures, Velcro tabs, or transparent clip systems.
How does the physical sampling process work?

Pre-production physical prototypes are provided to verify structural strength, unfolding action, and color fidelity before bulk manufacturing.

  • Standard Catalog Styles: Dispatched quickly from in-stock materials to evaluate paper density and opening mechanics.
  • Custom OEM Prototypes: Precision CAD die-cut samples developed from your technical drawings or reference samples.
  • Logistics: Dispatched via DHL/FedEx/UPS under buyer courier account or agreed freight terms. Custom sample tooling fees are credited against volume production orders.
How early should seasonal retail orders be planned and booked?

We recommend locking in seasonal production 4 to 6 months ahead of your target in-store launch date:

  • Q4 / Christmas Assortments: Finalize sampling and place orders between March and June for August–October export dispatch.
  • Spring & Easter Assortments: Finalize between September and November for January–February export dispatch.
  • Production Lead Time: Mass production typically takes 25 to 45 days after final pre-production sample sign-off, plus ocean freight transit time to your destination port.
What factors determine the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ is determined by production and material setup requirements rather than a single arbitrary number:

  • Standard Models & In-Stock Colors: Highly flexible MOQs, ideal for multi-style coordinated assortments.
  • Custom Pantone-Dyed Paper: Driven by the minimum mill run required for custom paper dyeing batches.
  • Custom Steel Tooling / New Shapes: Dependent on custom die-cutting mold fabrication and automated gluing setup.
  • Custom Printed Retail Packaging: Driven by commercial offset printing plate minimums.
